I honestly cannot believe that it is already almost time to leave for Costa Rica! I remember in January when I thought May would never get here and it is finally here! I'm. SO. excited. I spent the last few days getting things ready and hope that I didn't forget to pack anything! As I was going over the itinerary, I think I am the most excited for the chocolate factory tour and going white water rafting on Sunday. The closest thing that I've ever done to white water rafting is the Kali River Rapids ride at Disney World. I have a feeling that white water rafting in Costa Rica will be so much better! However, the rest of our trip seems to be filled with many exciting things! This trip will be an incredible experience and I cannot wait for this journey to begin! I can't think of a better way to celebrate the end of finals. Our flight leaves at 5:45 tomorrow morning and even though that's early, tomorrow at this time I will be in Costa Rica! From what I have learned so far about Costa Rica, it is a country that is very environmentally friendly. They have become one of the leading countries in sustainable energy sources. For a country that was on the verge of collasping fifty years ago to make such a comeback and make its way to the top is pretty awesome in my eyes. I can't wait to experience Costa Rica and it's rich culture! Is it time to board the plane yet?! :)
